President Halonen travelling to the World Economic Forum in Davos

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will travel to Davos, Switzerland on 29-31 January 2009 to attend the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum. In Davos President Halonen will participate in top-level sessions that will discuss the current economic situation, climate change and other timely subjects.

Political leaders together with the leaders of selected organizations and businesses are invited to meetings of the World Economic Forum. Over 2,500 participants are expected to attend this time.
