President Halonen to attend World Economic Forum

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will be in Davos, Switzerland on 22-25 January 2004 for the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum.

The President will act as the discussion leader and commentator at two panel discussions on the themes of transatlantic relations and global interdependence. She will also take part in several other events, including discussions of rebuilding and the World Trade Organisation’s development agenda, in addition to meeting political and business leaders.
