Visit to Lapland 29.3.2001

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen and Committee Counsellor Pentti Arajärvi will visit Rovaniemi, the capital of the province of Lapland, on Thursday 29 March 2001. Their itinerary includes visits to the University of Lapland and Lappset Group Oy, in addition to which they will meet pupils of a senior secondary school in the city. They will also attend a symposium, arranged by the Finnish Settlement Movement, where the President will make a speech.
