President Halonen to attend the Athens Olympics

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will travel to Athens for the Olympic Games on 21-25 August 2004. President Halonen will watch Finns competing in different sports. She will also visit athletes in the Olympic Village and take part in a Nordic worship service at the Greek Evangelical Church and a reception arranged by the Finnish Embassy and the Finnish Olympic Committee. President Halonen will be accompanied by Dr Pentti Arajärvi and President’s daughter Anna Halonen.
