Children's party at the Presidential Palace

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen and Dr Pentti Arajärvi will host a children's party at the Presidential Palace on Thursday, 27 March 2008. About 150 children have been invited to the party from schools and day-care centres in the area. The Amura children's orchestra, which was established by the Global Music Centre and the Music for Young People Association, will perform at the party. The programme will feature Finnish children's songs and folk songs, played by young musicians from around the world.

President Halonen and Dr Arajärvi have arranged children's parties three times in the past, twice at the Presidential Palace and once at the President's summer residence.
