President Halonen’s official visit to Romania cancelled

Office of the President of the Republic of Finland Press Release 8 May 2006

An official visit of President of the Republic Tarja Halonen and Dr Pentti Arajärvi to Romania from 9 to 11 May 2006 has been cancelled owing to President Traian Basescu of Romania being sick.

The official visit will be arranged at a later date that will be announced in due course.
