President Halonen to inspect the Pori Brigade and training of EU troops

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will visit the Pori Brigade in Säkylä on Monday, 28 August 2006. During the visit she will inspect the brigade and the training of Finnish troops who will participate in an EU rapid reaction force. Finns will participate alongside troops from Germany and the Netherlands in a battle group that will be ready for crisis management tasks in the first half of 2007.
