President Halonen to visit Moscow and St Petersburg

President of the Republic Tarja Halonen will travel to Moscow and St Petersburg in Russia on 30 September to 1 October. President Halonen will meet President Vladimir Putin of Russia and will attend the 90th birthday celebrations of Mr Juri Ljubimov, director of Taganka Theater.

On Monday, 1 October, President Halonen will attend the opening of the phosphorus removal plant at the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant of St Petersburg. Minister of the Environment Kimmo Tiilikainen will also attend the opening.
