President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö presented the 2023 Internationalisation Awards on Friday 24 November at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki.

The winner of the Newcomer Company Award, Neural DSP Technologies Oy, develops and manufactures digital audio processing software and equipment. The Growth Company of the Year is Kuusakoski Group Oy, a family business specialising in recycling services. This is the third time that a company has been recognised for creating significant economic value for the Finnish economy. The Long-term International Investor Award was granted to the AGCO Corporation, an agricultural machinery manufacturer renowned for its tractors and engines. In Finland, the corporation operates through AGCO Power and Valtra.

The Community Award of the Year was presented to EnergyVaasa, the largest energy cluster in the Nordic countries, bringing together a network of energy companies and research institutes.

“It is good to see Finnish future-oriented expertise,” President Niinistö said in his speech to congratulate the award winners.

The Internationalisation Awards of the President of the Republic of Finland are bestowed annually in recognition of internationally successful Finnish companies or communities. In addition to international success, the evaluation emphasises the ethical nature of operations, the impact on the development of Finnish competence and employment, and the impact on foreign investments.
