President of the Republic Sauli Niinistö met with Chair of the Military Committee of the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO), Admiral Rob Bauer on 17 June in Kultaranta.
The President and Admiral discussed the future role of Finland in NATO, and the growing significance of technology.
During the visit, Admiral Bauer will discuss with CHOD, General Timo Kivinen, and meet Minister of Defence Antti Kaikkonen, and Minister for Foreign Affairs Pekka Haavisto. Commander of the Finnish Defence Forces, General Timo Kivinen hosts the visit.
