President of the Republic of Finland Sauli Niinistö met by remote connection with the Speaker and the Deputy Speaker of Parliament, chairs of committees and representatives of parties elected to Parliament on Wednesday 2 March 2022. The discussions focused on the current security situation and further measures required by it.
The meeting was attended by Speaker of the Parliament Matti Vanhanen and Deputy Speaker Antti Rinne, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee Jussi Halla-aho and Chair of the Defence Committee Ilkka Kanerva, Chairs Sanna Marin, Petteri Orpo, Annika Saarikko, Anna-Maja Henriksson, Iiris Suomela, Riikka Purra and Harry Harkimo, and Deputy Chairs Jussi Saramo and Peter Östman.
