Today marks the two-year anniversary of Russia’s full scale war of aggression against Ukraine. For all this time, Ukrainians have been faced with unspeakable horrors of the war. At the same time, they have continued to heroically protect their freedom and independence.
Ukraine deserves our full support. And we must make sure that we have the capacity and resources to support in the long run. We need to rapidly ramp up our defence industrial production.
At the same time, we must work towards peace. Finland supports President Zelenskyy’s Peace Formula and the initiative for a peace summit. Ukraine deserves a just and lasting peace that respects its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity.
