Tasavallan presidentti Sauli Niinistö on lähettänyt maanantaina 5. maaliskuuta 2012 surunvalittelut Puolan presidentille Bronislaw Komorowskille Puolassa tapahtuneen junaonnettomuuden johdosta. Sähkeessään presidentti Niinistö esittää surunvalittelut omasta ja Suomen kansan puolesta presidentti Komorowskille, uhrien omaisille sekä koko Puolan kansalle.
