Mrs Suzanne Innes-Stubb, spouse of the President of the Republic of Finland, and Save the Children Finland have invited 50 children and volunteers to Kultaranta for a day filled with play and physical activity on Saturday 15 August 2026. President Alexander Stubb will also take part in the event.
The day will begin with Moomintroll’s exercise session, after which the programme will continue at activity stations. The children will have the opportunity to try a variety of outdoor games and take part in arts and crafts workshops. Mrs Innes-Stubb, Honorary Chair of Save the Children Finland, will visit the activity stations and participate in the activities together with the children.
The aim of the event is to inspire children to stay active and discover meaningful leisure-time activities. Save the Children Finland supports children in finding the joy of physical activity and developing an active lifestyle through initiatives such as hobby support and sports mentors. Children meet with their sports mentor at least once a month to enjoy physical activities together.
