On 1 September 2026, there will be changes among the aides-de-camp to the President of the Republic of Finland. The current second aide-de-camp, Commander Anna Eronen, has been appointed first aide-de-camp.
The current first aide-de-camp, Lieutenant Colonel Ville Hukkanen, will transfer to the Defence Command Finland and subsequently assume command of the Armoured Brigade of the Jaeger Artillery Regiment as of 1 January 2027. He has served as an aide-de-camp to the President of the Republic of Finland since 2020.
The current third aide-de-camp, Lieutenant Colonel Tuomas Karjalainen, has been appointed second aide-de-camp and Major Kaisa Heikkinen from the Finnish Defence Forces Logistics Command third aide-de-camp.
