The public had the opportunity to visit the President of the Republic of Finland’s official residence, Mäntyniemi, on Friday 18 September 2026. A total of 2,100 visitors attended the Open Day at Mäntyniemi.
During the four-hour event, visitors were able to explore the President’s reception rooms. From the entrance hall, the route continued through the small and grand salons and then on to the dining room. Visitors were also able to take a peek into the President’s study. The visit concluded with a tour of the Mäntyniemi garden.
Staff from the Office of the President were on hand along the route to answer questions. Artists whose works are displayed at Mäntyniemi were also present to talk about their artwork. The artists in attendance were Mayumi Niiranen-Hisatomi, Kimi Pakarinen, Osmo Rauhala and Kimmo Schroderus.
