Kultaranta, the summer residence of the President of the Republic of Finland in Naantali, will be open to the public on Monday 8 September 2025 from 12 noon to 18.00. Visitors will be able to access the grounds until 17.00.
The tour will begin with a visit to the formal garden, continuing up to the Granite Castle, the main building at Kultaranta, where visitors will have access to the reception rooms on the ground floor.
Inside the Granite Castle, visitors will have the opportunity to see the President’s office and explore the Lower Hall, the Star Cabinet, the Blue Veranda, and the Dining Room. The tour then returns to the Kultaranta gate via the western side of the formal garden, known as the Chain.
Instructions for visitors
Kultaranta is located at Kordelininkatu 1, Naantali. The gates will open on Monday 8 September at 12 noon. Visitors arriving at the gate before 17.00 will be admitted to the tour. Advance registration is not possible.
The tour is self-guided, Office of the President staff will be on hand to answer questions. The route is approximately one kilometre long.
Visitors arriving by car should note that parking spaces are very limited.
As there is no luggage storage at Kultaranta, visitors must carry their belongings with them during the tour. Large bags or backpacks are not permitted. Strollers and prams are not permitted into the Granite Castle. The tour is not completely accessible, but wheelchairs can move around easily in the garden area. Photography for personal use is permitted.
