n their meeting on Wednesday 4 February, the President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discussed the Meeting of NATO Ministers of Defence taking place in Brussels on 12 February.
Another item on the agenda was the start of preparations for a new report on changes in the foreign and security policy environment. The report is to be submitted to Parliament during its spring session of 2026.
The president and the ministerial committee also discussed support for Ukraine and the ongoing peace process.
In addition, they received an update on the situation concerning Greenland.
