President and Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discuss situation in Ukraine and Finland’s objectives for 80th session of UN General Assembly

In their meeting on Friday 19 September, the President of the Republic and the Ministerial Committee on Foreign and Security Policy discussed the current situation in Ukraine, efforts to end Russia’s unlawful war of aggression and increase pressure on Russia, and support for Ukraine.

The President and the Ministerial Committee also discussed Finland’s objectives for the 80th session of the UN General Assembly and its high-level week.

The President and the Ministerial Committee decided on a national cyber attribution framework, which will strengthen the implementation of Finland’s goal-oriented and consistent attribution policy to combat malicious cyber activities.

In addition, the President and the Ministerial Committee discussed the recent violations of Poland’s airspace.
