President of the Republic of Lithuania Gitanas Nausėda will pay a working visit to Finland on Tuesday 2 September 2025, accompanied by his spouse Diana Nausėdienė. The visit will be hosted by President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb together with his spouse Suzanne Innes-Stubb.
President Stubb and President Nausėda will discuss bilateral relations between Finland and Lithuania, as well as Russia’s illegal war of aggression in Ukraine, support for Ukraine and the current situation in the Middle East. Following their discussions, the Presidents will hold a joint press conference.
During his stay in Helsinki, President Nausėda will also meet with Prime Minister Petteri Orpo. In addition, he will participate in a forum on the defence industry.
On Monday 1 September, President Stubb and President Nausėda will attend the Finland–Lithuania European Championship basketball game in Tampere.
