President Stubb in Paris: Our support for Ukraine remains unwavering

The President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, attended a summit of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris on Monday 13 July 2026. The summit was convened by the President of France, Emmanuel Macron.

Discussions focused on training and other support for Ukraine, the joint production of defence materiel, and actions to disrupt the Russian shadow fleet.

“Our support for Ukraine remains unwavering, and Russia must understand that. We support Ukraine’s efforts to achieve a ceasefire and a just, lasting peace,” President Stubb said.

To mark France’s National Day on 14 July, President Stubb and his spouse Suzanne Innes-Stubb, together with the other guests of honour, watched the military parade on the Champs-Élysées.
