President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb met with Finnish Members of the European Parliament at the Munkkiniemi residence on 17 April 2026. The discussion focused on topical foreign and security policy issues, including the situation in the Middle East and Ukraine, as well as strengthening Europe’s security and defence.
The meeting was attended by Mika Aaltola (EPP), Pekka Toveri (EPP), Eero Heinäluoma (S&D), Maria Guzenina (S&D), Sebastian Tynkkynen (ECR), Elsi Katainen (Renew), Katri Kulmuni (Renew), Anna-Maja Henriksson (Renew), Ville Niinistö (Greens/EFA), Maria Ohisalo (Greens/EFA), Li Andersson (Left) and Jussi Saramo (Left).
