President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb received the Defence Committee of the Finnish Parliament on Thursday 12 September 2024 at the Presidential Palace.
The meeting focused on current foreign, security and defence policy issues. The topics discussed included continued support for Ukraine and the strengthening of the Alliance’s and Finland’s defence capabilities.
The meeting was the first between President Stubb and the Defence Committee this autumn.
