President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb received the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Finnish Parliament on Tuesday 8 September 2026 at the President’s official residence Mäntyniemi in Helsinki.
The meeting covered current foreign and security policy issues, including the upcoming United Nations General Assembly week (UNGA), as well as the situation in Ukraine and the status of the peace negotiations.
President Stubb last met with the Foreign Affairs Committee at a joint meeting with the Finnish Parliament’s Defence Committee on 26 June 2026.
