President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb and his spouse Suzanne Innes-Stubb are visiting Ukraine.
President Stubb will meet President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Thursday 11 September 2025 in Kyiv. The presidents will discuss the current situation in Ukraine, efforts to end Russia’s illegal war of aggression, and Finland’s support for Ukraine. Finland is working as part of the Coalition of the Willing and is involved in the security arrangements currently under preparation.
Mrs Innes-Stubb is attending a summit hosted by Olena Zelenska, the spouse of the President of Ukraine, on the role of education in promoting peace. The annual Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, hosted by Mrs Zelenska, brings together spouses of world leaders and experts from various fields to address global challenges.
