President Stubb to pay working visit to London

President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb will travel to London on a working visit on 16–17 March 2026.

On Monday 16 March, President Stubb will meet with foreign policy experts and visit the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). At the LSE the President will deliver a lecture on rebalancing the new world order in an age of fragmentation and discuss with students.

On Tuesday 17 March, the President of the Republic will visit Chatham House, an independent policy institute also known as The Royal Institute of International Affairs, where he will discuss the further strengthening of European cooperation.

President Stubb, accompanied by his spouse Suzanne Innes-Stubb, will also explore the New Wood exhibition, which showcases Finnish innovations derived from the forest-based bioeconomy. The exhibition in London is a collaboration between the Finnish Forest Association, the Circular Bioeconomy Alliance and the King’s Foundation. During their visit to the New Wood exhibition, the presidential couple will be joined by Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Sari Essayah.

During his visit in London, President Stubb will also have a number of other meetings.
