President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb will make a working visit to Oslo on Thursday 8 October 2026.
During his visit, President Stubb will meet Prime Minister of Norway Jonas Gahr Støre and King Haakon VIII of Norway.
The discussions between the President and the Prime Minister will cover the next steps regarding the international call for control of AI models launched at their initiative. Other topics will include Russia’s illegal war of aggression against Ukraine and European security.
In addition, President Stubb will participate in a discussion event organised by the Norwegian Institute of International Affairs and deliver a speech on values, interests and power in an era of strategic competition.
