President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb and his spouse Suzanne Innes-Stubb will visit the Åland Islands on Monday 17 August 2026.
President Stubb will meet with representatives of the autonomous province of Åland and discuss current issues concerning the region.
The president’s programme also includes visits to the Strömsgården residential care home and the Solbacken daycare centre in the municipality of Vårdö.
The visit to Åland will conclude with a meeting with local residents at Vårdö school at approximately 13.45.
