President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, will visit Kouvola on Wednesday 11 February 2026.
The visit will begin in Vekaranjärvi, where President Stubb will inspect the Karelia Brigade. During the inspection visit, the President will get acquainted with the operations of the Karelia Brigade, observe the training of conscripts and meet the brigade personnel.
The visit will continue in Kouvolan Yhteislyseo upper secondary school. During his visit, President Stubb will meet students and discuss with them at an event for the entire school.
In the afternoon, the President will visit the Kouvolan Lakritsi liquorice factory, where he will learn about the company’s history and operations, and meet the company’s staff.
The day will conclude at the Shopping Centre Veturi, where President Stubb will meet Kouvola residents at a public event at 15.15.
