President Stubb: We are moving towards a new NATO


President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb attended the NATO Summit in The Hague, the Netherlands, on 24–25 June 2025.

President Stubb participated in a meeting of Heads of State and Government of the North Atlantic Council, the principal decision-making body within NATO. The programme also included a dinner hosted by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands. On the sidelines of the summit, President Stubb held a number of bilateral meetings.

Mrs Suzanne Innes-Stubb, spouse of the President of the Republic, participated in the spouse program and the joint dinner.

This was Finland’s third summit as a NATO member.
