The Office of the President of the Republic of Finland publishes a medical statement concerning the health status of the President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb every two years or as needed. The previous statement was published at the beginning of the President’s term of office on 23 April 2024.

STATEMENT ON THE HEALTH OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC OF FINLAND

A statement is hereby issued to the public concerning the health status of the President of the Republic, to the extent necessary to ensure that he is fit to perform the duties of his office. Providing information on the President’s state of health is always voluntary. This statement has been prepared on the basis of an annual health examination.

Since the initial health examination conducted at the beginning of the President’s term of office, nothing has emerged regarding the President’s health that would affect his ability to perform his duties.

The President’s health is monitored regularly, and as needed, by specialists from various medical specialties.

I hereby certify the above to be true, on my honour and conscience.
