The President of the Republic of Finland receives credentials from new ambassadors

On Wednesday 20 May 2026, the President of the Republic of Finland, Alexander Stubb, received the credentials of six non-resident Ambassadors accredited to Finland. The ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki.

Letters of credence were presented by:

  • Ambassador of Chad Youssouf Abassalah (resident in Berlin)
  • Ambassador of Côte d’Ivoire Pélikan Armand Hervé Toure (resident in Copenhagen)
  • Ambassador of Panama Irma Natalia Royo Ruiz De Hagerman (resident in Stockholm)
  • Ambassador of Guatemala Carlos Alberto García Reyes (resident in Stockholm)
  • Ambassador of Lebanon Oussama Khachab (resident in Stockholm)
  • Ambassador of El Salvador Ricardo Alfonso Cisneros Rodríguez (resident in Stockholm)
