President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb will promote the cadets graduating from the National Defence University to the rank of lieutenant on Friday 29 August 2025 at the Presidential Palace in Helsinki.
At the ceremony, President Stubb will address the newly graduated Bachelors of Military Science and appoint them to officer positions within the Finnish Defence Forces and the Finnish Border Guard.
The ceremony will be broadcast live on the Office of the President of the Republic of Finlands’s website starting at 9.45.
